GA Guides goes Organic!
We are gowing our own organic vegetables, and whenever possible we by locally grown produce for our multi-day tours. We are also committed to reducing our fossil fuels usage, by bicycling to and from errands. For our tours we drive an economical 4 cylinder truck, a v6 or v8 engine is just not needed.
Above: our home grown tomatoes, and this October we are harvesting Kiwi-Grapes our first crop in five years rearing - kiwis on the inside, and grape skins on the outside, they are smooth and sweet.
G.A. Guides works with the Department of Transportation Bathymetric survey crew and also removes trash from portage bay. For complete story see journal and photo gallery.
