Guides is committed to protecting the environment, that's why we only offer room for one or two customers. You will also see more wildlife this way. We can also visit areas and regions larger guide services can't. Kayak at your own pace. A popular option is to combine a lesson and guided trip. Our Deception Pass trip molds well with a lesson prior to riding the current under the bridge. As always safety is paramount and we are happy to customize any trip to suit you. HALF DAY:
Nisqually Delta
Enjoy several hrs exploring a national wildlife refuge viewing bald eagles, great blue heron, seals & more! No experience necessary. Half day: $65.00 per person or $95.00 for 2. See Photo Gallery of this trip. This is a popular evening paddle also.
Boston Harbor see map
Paddle along the Shore-line with the city of Olympia in the background. This is a great full moon or evening tour, with a stop at Burfoot Park for a hot drink and cookies included. No experience necessary. Half Day: $65 per person or $95 for 2 people.
Olympia city Lights Evening Paddle Launch at Swantown Marina see map and explore Priest Point Park shore line under moonlight. A stop at a secluded beach for a hot drink and cookies included. 3 hrs: $65.00 per person or $95.00 for 2 people.
Mud Bay Art & Archeology Tour A great tour starting with a short walk on an access trail to Mud Bay, and vists to both an active archeology dig site and totem pole; plus an up close look at a larger than life steel sculpture all from your kayak. We will also paddle under highway 101 bridge. For more info see our blog write-up on this area. 3 hrs: $65.00 per person or $95.00 for 2 people. Photos of the trip here. Woodard Bay is an oasis and home to many important species including harbor seals, herons,waterfowl, song birds, and bats. Enjoy a private max 2 person tour of the bay, and access under the old Warehouser Rail Tressel into Henderson Inlet. The Bay is managed as a Natural Resource Conservation Area (NRCA) by the DNR management plan here and sea kayaking is a perfect low impact method of accessing this area. Tours are only from April 15th to Labor Day, to protect nesting. Tours operate at or near high tide. 3 hrs: $65.00 per person or $95.00 for 2 people. A great spot for an evening tour, if you dont mind a few bats overhead.

Kayak to a South Sound Totem Pole see map
One of the Puget Sounds best kept secrets! Day tour from Jarrel Cove Marina on Harstine Island. We will paddle across to the Key Peninsula to visit an undeveloped state park and eat lunch under a totem pole. Hike to some old growth trees and learn the history of Dutcher Cove. Hot/cold drink and cookies provided - bring your lunch. Full day private tour $110.00 or $160 for 2 people. Photos of the trip here.
Hope Island
Just north of Olympia next to Squaxin Island lies Hope - a beautiful State Marine Park. We will launch at Arcadia boat ramp with a view of Hope Is, and paddle the waters around Squaxin and Hope, then enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic table with a splended view. Bring your walking shoes and enjoy a stroll around the Island. Pick wild apples from the orchard (when in season), and view the old farm implements, and native seed garden that the caretaker maintains. Hot/cold drink and cookies provided - bring your lunch (or we can cater for extra fee) . Full day private tour $110.00 or $160.00 for 2 people. OR camp the night in your private tent, and enjoy the spectacular sunsets here. Camping and fully catered option: 2 days one night: $280.00 or $385.00 for two.
Hammersley Inlet see map and see movie
This narrow passage links Shelton to the Puget sound. We will use the ebb or flood tides to our advantage and paddle to and from Hope Island State Park & Walker County Park. Deer can often be seen licking salt at the water edge, and seals otters and eagles share the waterway. Hot drink provided - bring your lunch. Full day tour $110 or $160 for 2 people.
Deception Pass see map
This tour is great for intermediate paddlers wanting to improve their skills in moving water. We will launch with the current and perfect eddy turns and ferry angles under the Deception Pass Bridge - a mecca for kayakers see movie. Or for beginners join me in a stable double kayak and tell your friends you paddled the Pass! Requires completion of a capsize and recovery class - see instruction page which we can do on location. Camp at Bowman Bay State Park and we can meet you there. Learn about the Maiden of Deception Pass, a Samish Indian Nation legend. Full day tour $150 or $195for 2 people.
Blake Island see map
Seattle's Gem of an Island. Depart from Southworth ferry Dock on Puget Sounds western shoreline. Blake Island is home to a State Marine Park, and Tillicum village a great place to experience Northwest coast Native American Culture. The Island is home to many deer, and eagles. 10am - to 6pm tour. $150 or $195 for 2 people.

Due north of Orcas Island is a paddlers paradise, Sucia Island. Three days exploring this marine State Park will leave you speechless. We will cook and guide you in paradise. You will sleep well at Snoring Bay, with all camping, and kayak equipment provided. Even grab an espresso and bakery Goods from the cockpit of your kayak docked alongside the Bakery Tug. 3 Days depart and return from Orcas Island. $485 or $685 for 2 people.
Stuart Island see map
Explore WA States most northwest Island, and one of the remotest public schools. Depart from San Juan Island. We will cross to Speiden Island and search for and photograph exotic safari animals. Speiden was once a private hunting reserve and many strange striped deer and zebra still roam wild. Then cross to our destination Stuart Island, home to historic Turn Point Lighthouse. This tour is for intermediate paddlers wanting a remote destination to explore with some turbulent waters to navigate thru. Kayak navigation and trip planning skills are included in this package trip. 3 days kayak and camping equipment included. Cape Disappointment Columbia River Entrance see map
Fancy camping at a remote sandy beach and exploring Baker Bay and the sea surrounding Cape Disappointment Lighthouse?. This trip will start and end at Cape Disappointment State Park home to a great Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. We have lots of options depending on your skill level. If your wanting a camping trip with time to learn to kayak surf and navigate the mouth of the Columbia river this is it!. Or beginners will enjoy Baker Bays sheltered waters and enjoy beach combing for glass fishing floats. 2 days camping, kayak guide, instruction and cooking included. $485or $685 for 2 people.
A one day guided trip circumnavigating and exploring Sand Island is also available for $150 or $195 for 2 people. This one day option is great for guests also wanting to explore on land the light houses, Interpretive Center, gun emplacements and camp in more comfort at the State Park. A hot drink and snack is included.
Deception Pass Kayak Camping
This 3 day 2 night tour is open to a number of options depending on abilities. Explore the outer coast from Bowman Bay, explore the inner Skagit Bay and camp on a secluded Island, or combine both trips and paddle thru the pass. Trip will include instruction in moving water, navigation, and be fully catered if necessary. Enjoy the soaring Eagles overhead, and come away with new skills and experiences. Includes professional private instruction & guide, kayak and camping equipment. $485or $685 for 2 people.
Cape Flattery Neah Bay
Intermediate & advanced paddlers this is for you. Join a professional guide and explore WA States wild and scenic tip of the Olympic Peninsula. A weekend of kayaking and exploring waterfalls, stunning arches, pillars & sea caves. Depart and return to Neah Bay 3 days and 2 nights. $485 or $685 for 2 people.
